G-Dragon and Lee Soo-hyuk Appear on Dae-sung’s “Jipdaeseong” to Reveal 20 Years of Friendship

G-Dragon appeared on YouTube content series “Jipdaeseong” alongside actor Lee Soo-hyuk. The video, released on the afternoon of the 6th on Dae-sung’s channel, featured the two friends who had known each other since high school as guests.

Unlike Lee Soo-hyuk, who appeared to promote the movie “Sister,” G-Dragon was surprised by Dae-sung’s surprise plan and let out a nervous laugh. In the video, Dae-sung explained his reason for organizing this special meeting by saying, “The chemistry between the two of them is great, but they’ve never shared past anecdotes.”

In the released video, G-Dragon and Lee Soo-hyuk shared stories from their school days. In particular, Lee Soo-hyuk revealed that he was the “friend” mentioned in G-Dragon’s solo song “This Love” with the line, “My friends call me XX.” Dae-sung responded to Lee Soo-hyuk by saying, “That lyric must be the reason.”

G-Dragon described the situation at the time as “nothing serious,” while Dae-sung praised him by saying, “My older brother is pure love itself.” When G-Dragon mentioned the name of his former girlfriend, Dae-sung reacted by saying, “I’ve never seen a man who washes his feet like that.” Lee Soo-hyuk was surprised by G-Dragon’s dating style in his school days and said, “It’s different from the version I knew.”

Lee Soo-hyuk recalled a past encounter where he met G-Dragon in heavy rain so intense that an umbrella was needed. He said G-Dragon was taking shelter from the rain under a slide at the time. Lee Soo-hyuk, who was aware of G-Dragon’s dating history in school, said, “I didn’t understand it back then,” while G-Dragon laughed and said, “I’ll keep it in check.”

“Jipdaeseong” is a talk show where Dae-sung, who only knows how to stay at home aside from attending lessons, goes on outdoor outings with various guests. It is released every Friday at 6 p.m. on Dae-sung’s official YouTube channel.
