BIGBANG Announces 20th Anniversary World Tour at Coachella, Set to Begin in August

BIGBANG officially confirmed that their 20th anniversary world tour will start in August at the U.S.-based Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The announcement, made during a performance at the music festival on April 12, serves as a signal of the group’s full-scale return to active activities.

G-Dragon revealed the tour’s start date from the outdoor theater stage. Daesung declared on stage, “This is not just a Comeback, it’s a reset,” while G-Dragon urged the audience, “do not, do NOT miss out.” During the festival, BIGBANG performed their iconic songs such as “Bang Bang Bang,” “Fantastic Baby,” and “Sober,” in addition to solo performances by each member.

BIGBANG is also preparing for active communication with their fans. On the 18th, YG Entertainment announced the recruitment for the 6th official fan club by releasing a poster titled “BIGBANG OFFICIAL 6th V.I.P NOW OPEN.” This marks the first new fan club recruitment in about 11 years since the 5th group was formed in 2015, and it is expected to be a key component of the 20th anniversary project.

Fan club membership is available through BIGBANG’s official community on the global fan platform b.stage. The poster shows glowing yellow light sticks known as “bongbong” filling the concert venue, further raising expectations for future activities. The 20th anniversary world tour will officially commence in August, with BIGBANG planning a large-scale schedule across the world.
