Yuna Releases Her First Solo Mini Album “Ice Cream”

Yuna, the Maknae of ITZY, officially made her solo debut on March 23 by releasing her first solo mini album “Ice Cream.” Since her group debut in 2019, Yuna has drawn attention for her cute energy and unique presence, and this release showcases her new identity as a solo artist.

The Title Track “Ice Cream” is an upbeat pop dance song in the bubblegum pop genre. It features a bouncy beat reminiscent of bubble gum and conveys a positive message encouraging listeners to fully enjoy the moment “as sweetly as ice cream melting away.” The bright and lively music video showcases Yuna’s polished visuals and graceful dancing skills, highlighting her dancing abilities amid the track’s upbeat energy.

The mini album “Ice Cream” consists of four tracks in total. In addition to the Title Track “Ice Cream,” it includes the hip-hop track “B-Boy,” the R&B song “Blue Maze,” and the disco-style track “Hyper Dream.” The music video was directed by Yoon Seung-rim from Legend Film.

Yuna became the second ITZY member to pursue a solo career, following Yeji. Yeji’s solo album “AIR” received widespread acclaim, being named one of the best K-pop songs of 2025 by music magazine NME and reaching position 6 on the Billboard U.S. World Albums chart.
