IU’s “THE WINNING” Concert to Air on MBC During Seollal Holiday

IU’s 2024 world tour concert “THE WINNING” will be broadcast to viewers nationwide via MBC during the Seollal holiday period. This provides fans who were unable to attend in person with the opportunity to watch the large-scale stage performances from home.

IU held the “2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT ENCORE : THE WINNING” concert at Seoul World Cup Stadium over two days, on September 21 and 22, 2024. During the shows, a drone show featuring 1,000 drones lighting up the sky above Sangam-dong and a flying stage that allowed IU to move across the performance area were showcased, creating unique visual effects against the vast stage backdrop.

The concert is scheduled to air on MBC at 9:30 p.m. on February 17. Fans who could not be present at the time will be able to comfortably enjoy IU’s outstanding performances through television.

As idols play an increasingly significant role in the entertainment industry, this broadcast of the concert is seen as a meaningful effort to improve fan accessibility in a concert market where ticket power holds great importance. It serves as a platform to introduce both fans who missed the shows and new audiences to IU’s exceptional stage skills and grand production values.
