Hwang Gwang-hee Goes Wild on Recording Session for Cheer Song in MBC’s “Manito Club”

On the episode of MBC’s “Manito Club” that aired on the 12th, Cha Tae-hyun, Park Bo-young, Lee Sun-bin, Hwang Gwang-hee, Kang Hoon from Ulsan Wales, along with Lee Soo-ji and Yoon Nam-no, participated in recording a cheer song.

Cha Tae-hyun asked his close friend Hong Gyeong-min, “If we record it and send it over, can you make sure our voices are included in the cheer song?” He also requested of the music director that the sound of drums be included, saying, “I want to hear a loud ‘boom boom boom boom’.”

Just before recording began, Hwang Gwang-hee expressed concern, saying he felt pressured despite Cha Tae-hyun’s remark that he could do whatever he wanted, and he urged everyone to avoid criticizing him. However, as soon as recording started, Yoon Nam-no reacted by saying, “It’s heartbreaking to see you working so hard,” while Cha Tae-hyun pointed out, “What Gwang-hee did can’t be used, and no one should sing like him.”

In response, Hwang Gwang-hee complained, “Why do I always have to sing? I was told to deliver a gift, not to sing.” He then said self-deprecatingly, “I don’t want to get criticized anymore. That’s why I’m not good at being a singer.”

Later, when Hwang Gwang-hee was asked to sing again, he mistakenly pronounced “Ppeojera” as “Kkoejera,” causing everyone present to burst into laughter. He then added, “All of you, go away! Actors and chefs, all of you, go away!” further provoking laughter.
