G-Dragon, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Daesung Reunite in 20-Year Friendship Special… Including a Joke About Height

Episode 94 of the YouTube channel “Jipdaeseong,” released on the 6th, featured actor Lee Soo-hyuk and singer G-Dragon as special guests. Daesung arranged a surprise meeting in the style of a prank video without informing either guest ahead of time.

Lee Soo-hyuk and G-Dragon have been friends for over 20 years, dating back to their first year of high school. Lee Soo-hyuk said, “I think this is the first time we’ve seen each other since MAMA this year,” while G-Dragon joked, “He’s feeling lonely, but I talk a lot, so I don’t really try to comfort him.” The two also revealed their strong bond by saying, “We don’t talk every day, but we catch up on all the things that have piled up.”

An interesting detail came from Lee Soo-hyuk sharing a story about G-Dragon’s high school days. At that time, G-Dragon was looking for members for BIGBANG and asked Lee Soo-hyuk, “Are there any kids in your neighborhood who are good at dancing and singing?” When Lee Soo-hyuk jokingly offered to try, G-Dragon refused, saying, “You’re too tall.”

G-Dragon added playfully, “That’s true. You’d be better off joining TVXQ,” referring to the tall members of TVXQ at the time. The three also shared memories from the production of the movie “Sister.” Lee Soo-hyuk mentioned that the movie premiered on January 28th and that he promoted it despite a tight schedule.

After Daesung’s prank video was successful, G-Dragon pretended to be slightly disappointed, saying, “I thought I was the only one appearing solo.” Daesung admitted that G-Dragon had dressed up nicely, to which G-Dragon responded with a laugh, saying, “You’ve really grown up. You really tricked me.”
