BoA Launches First Official Membership Project via Fan Platform 3 Months After Leaving SM

BoA began new activities following her announcement in March that her 25-year contract with SM Entertainment had expired. Starting from the 1st, she accepted applications for the first official membership program, “Jumping BoA 1st Generation,” through IP’s exclusive private fan platform, “PLEDGE.” On the 11th, her agency, Baypal Entertainment, officially announced that BoA had joined PLEDGE as its first IP.

The membership recruitment period began at 2 p.m. on the 1st and will run until 11:59 p.m. on the 17th. Once members receive their membership kits, the platform’s main content and features will be unveiled sequentially. This marks BoA’s first official membership program under her own name in 26 years since her Debut.

Members of this membership can access a private community dedicated solely to BoA. They will receive text and voice messages left directly by BoA, as well as unreleased behind-the-scenes photos and exclusive VOD content. Members also receive priority access for early ticket purchases and draws related to concerts and music show appearances, along with the opportunity to apply for various special perks. A reward system based on her activities is also planned to be introduced gradually.

In March, BoA ended her 25-year contract with SM Entertainment and co-founded the one-person agency Baypal. The company’s name incorporates the English word “pal,” meaning “to get close like friends.” Joining PLEDGE is BoA’s first official project since the establishment of Baypal.

BoA debuted in the entertainment industry in 2000 at the age of 13. She has been regarded as the “Star of Asia” for driving K-pop’s global expansion across Asia, including South Korea and Japan. Last year, she released her 11th studio album to celebrate her 25th Debut anniversary, and now she plans to maintain closer communication with her fans through Baypal and PLEDGE.
