BABYMONSTER Seizes Summer with “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA”

BABYMONSTER is ready to cool this summer with a new track that delivers crisp, soda-like energy. On the 7th, YG Entertainment announced that the group will release its new digital single “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” on the 8th and begin an ultra-fast Comeback campaign.

“SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” is an up-tempo dance song featuring a rhythmic bass sound paired with a catchy hook that lingers in the listener’s mind. The cool and relaxed vibe of the members, contrasting with the sweet title, will blend perfectly with the music video’s clever twist on gossip themes to deliver a lively visual and auditory experience.

This new track marks their first Comeback in one month since the release of their third mini-album “CHOOM” on the 4th of last month. “CHOOM” proved the group’s global appeal by selling over 750,000 copies. For this new release, they move away from the bold energy and precision of their previous title track “CHOOM,” offering a more refined performance with playful gestures and bouncy movements.

Following the release of the new song, BABYMONSTER will kick off the second leg of their world tour at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from the 26th to the 28th. They will continue their global journey, performing 27 shows across 18 cities worldwide, including Japan, Asia, North America, Europe, and South America. Composed of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita, BABYMONSTER has established its unique musical style by exploring various genres such as hip-hop, pop, and R&B since their official Debut in 2024.
