aespa’s Second Full-Length Album ‘LEMONADE’ Dominates Domestic and International Charts

K-pop group aespa’s second full-length album, ‘LEMONADE’, was released on the 29th and swept across major domestic and international charts.

On the day of release, aespa topped both the Circle Chart’s physical album chart and the Hanteo Chart’s real-time chart. This success is attributed to the enhanced musical quality of the album combined with a world-class lineup of collaborators.

The album consists of 10 tracks, beginning with ‘WDA (Whole Different Animal)’ featuring G-DRAGON as the opening track. It further highlights collaborations with global stars such as Ty Dolla Sign on ‘Switchblade’ and a remix version of ‘LEMONADE’ featuring Becky G. The title track, ‘LEMONADE’, is an electronic dance song characterized by retro synth beats and an addictive hook, conveying the message of “creating your own lemonade in life”.

The album’s performance on music platforms is also noteworthy. It reached number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 19 countries, including Nigeria, Taiwan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Vietnam, Brazil, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Thailand, Turkey, Peru, Finland, the Philippines, and Colombia. It entered the top 10 in 38 regions, including the United States, France, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Macau.

QQ Music, China’s largest music platform, awarded ‘LEMONADE’ a “triple platinum” certification due to sales exceeding 3 million yuan. The album also topped Tencent Music’s integrated K-POP chart across five platforms and the Kugou Music digital album sales chart. In Japan, it ranked first on LINE Music’s Album TOP100 real-time chart and first on AWA’s real-time rising chart. The ‘LEMONADE’ music video surpassed 10 million views within 24 hours of release and also topped QQ Music’s overall music video chart as well as Korea’s music video chart.

Going forward, aespa is set to perform at Lollapalooza 2026 in Grant Park, Chicago, this summer alongside artists such as Charli xcx and Lil Uzi Vert. After that, they will launch the “2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : COMPLæXITY”, starting with consecutive performances in Seoul before heading to major North American cities like Atlanta, Miami, and Oakland, as well as global venues in Asia, Latin America, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

aespa will perform ‘LEMONADE’ on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 29th and on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on the 31st.
