TOP to Release His First Solo Studio Album “ANOTHER DIMENSION” on April 3

TOP, formerly of BIGBANG, will release his first solo studio album “ANOTHER DIMENSION” on April 3, according to his agency Topspot Pictures on the 20th. This marks his first full-length album as a solo artist, with him overseeing production across the entire project.

TOP debuted in 2006 as a member of BIGBANG and gained global popularity, establishing himself as a solo artist through tracks like “Turn It Up” and “DOOM DADA.” However, in 2016, he was convicted of marijuana possession while serving in the military and sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year suspension. He has not clearly expressed an intention to return to the entertainment industry since then, officially leaving BIGBANG in 2023.

Signs of TOP’s return began last year. He first made a comeback as an actor by appearing in Season 3 of Netflix’s series “Squid Game,” and now he is resuming his singing career with the release of this album.

TOP announced his solo Comeback in January and subsequently released Teasers for new tracks such as “완전미쳤어!(Studio54)” and “DESPERADO” one after another. The videos shared feature TOP’s striking Visual and stylish direction, raising expectations for the upcoming album. The album will be officially released at 6 p.m. on April 3, with pre-orders opening on various online music platforms at 3 p.m. on the 20th.
