G-Dragon’s Sister Kwon Dami Reveals Second Pregnancy

Kwon Dami, G-Dragon’s full sister and wife of actor Kim Min-jun, announced her second pregnancy. On the 9th, she shared an ultrasound image on her Instagram to confirm the news. In the post, she wrote, “Eden is getting a younger brother named Samdeun,” indicating the birth of a second son for their first child, Eden.

The second child is a girl. Kwon Dami expressed her joy, saying, “It’s a baby who has come as Eden wished for a younger sister—thankfully.” She mentioned what appears to be the baby’s nickname, stating, “I’m also excited to have a daughter for Kim Eden.” On the ultrasound photo, she added affectionately, “Next week, show me your face properly, Iu-ya♥,” and further noted, “Let’s meet healthy in October,” signaling an expected delivery date in that month.

Kwon Dami married actor Kim Min-jun in 2019. She gave birth to their first son, Eden, in 2022, and it is approximately four years later that she is now pregnant with her second child. With this second pregnancy, the couple will have one son and one daughter. G-Dragon, Kwon Dami’s younger brother, is known to have shown special affection for his nephew Eden.

G-Dragon’s love for his nephew has been the subject of attention on multiple occasions. He gifted his nephew the electric car that appeared in one of his music videos. Kim Min-jun revealed this fact during his appearance on TV Chosun’s variety show “Sikgak Heo Young-man’s Baekban Travel” in April. On the show, he explained, “There are many props in the music video, right? Our child received those as gifts from uncle (G-Dragon).”

On the same program, Kim Min-jun also spoke openly about his relationship with his brother-in-law. He said, “Since I only have a sister, I had a fantasy—giving money to my younger brother or brother-in-law when they went to military service.” He added, “I’d give it to them saying, ‘Don’t tell your sister you got it,’ and they’d say, ‘Thank you.’” However, he joked that reality was different, saying, “But it didn’t work out like that. I ended up worrying about how much to give.”

Kim Min-jun has also shared how he met his wife, Kwon Dami. He said they met naturally through a close friend and added, “The more I got to know her, the more I realized she has a strong side as a mother of a boy.” Last year, he mentioned considering having a second child, saying, “If my wife is okay with it,” and this pregnancy has now made that plan a reality.
