aespa to Release Second Full Album “Lemonade” on the 29th, Launching Global Pop-Up Events

aespa will release its second full album “Lemonade” at 1 p.m. on the 29th. The album features a total of 11 tracks centered around electronic dance music, and large-scale pop-up projects will be launched starting in Seoul and expanding to global cities alongside the album’s release.

The title track “Lemonade” is an electronic dance song characterized by a powerful synth bass sound. Its lyrics, inspired by the proverb “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” convey a positive message about turning any hardship or challenge into an opportunity. The album includes previously released track “WDA (Whole Different Animal)” (Feat. G-DRAGON), as well as diverse dance tracks such as the aggressive synth bass track “SHAKIN,” the warning-themed track “Bite,” and the minimalist sound track “Roll.”

The pop-up project “aespa WEEK - MAKE IT LEMONADE,” running from the day of release until June 7, is a large-scale initiative spanning the Yeouido and Banpo areas in Seoul. Visitors can experience the atmosphere of the new album firsthand at the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain in Banpo Hangang Park (May 29–30), event booths in Yeouido Hangang Park (May 29–31), and experience zones (May 29–June 7), where they can receive can holders and view media wall installations. At Yeouido IFC Mall, a space visually representing the album’s concept will offer a variety of merchandise, group photo opportunities, name stickers, and other fan-engagement activities.

Global pop-ups will also be launched simultaneously. Events will take place in Los Angeles and New York in the United States, as well as Shenzhen in China during the same period, with further expansion planned to more than six major cities worldwide, including Bangkok, Tokyo, and Taipei. Having already built anticipation with the previously released track “WDA,” aespa will demonstrate its enhanced world-building and musical growth through this “LEMONADE” promotion.
