SHINee Releases 6th Mini-Album ‘Atmos’, Filled with Romance and Memories

SHINee will release their 6th mini-album, “Atmos,” at 6 p.m. on June 1. The album consists of 6 tracks that explore themes of romance, memories, and emotional lingering effects.

The album was created around a video concept centered on the sound of rain. Utilizing a fan meme that states rain falls every time the members gather, SHINee presented teaser content themed around rain and weather. Teaser images shared on their official social media platforms showed the members together under pouring rain.

The main tracks on the album express a wide range of emotions. “HOURS” is a punk pop track infused with a sophisticated disco style, delivering a fresh feel through its groovy bass lines and half-time rhythm. The lyrics convey feelings of love that wish to gather together not only the memories and romance that have passed with the other person but also all the time to come.

“Still Raining” is an R&B pop song that blends various pluck synths with relaxed-tempo rhythmic instruments, creating a drowsy yet dreamy atmosphere. The lyrics depict the excitement that starts unexpectedly like a shower, as well as memories that pass by briefly but remain in the heart for a long time.

The album includes a total of 6 tracks, such as “Possibility,” “Anti Believer,” and “Thousand Miles Away.” KENZIE, a hitmaker who has worked with SHINee for many years, wrote the lyrics for the title track “Atmos,” while Andrew Choi contributed to its composition.
