BIGBANG Announces World Tour for First Time in 9 Years, with Shows Starting in August

BIGBANG has officially announced a debut 20th anniversary world tour for the first time in 9 years since “LAST DANCE” in 2017. YG Entertainment released a teaser poster for “BIGBANG 2026 WORLD TOUR” on its official social media accounts on the 24th, with the tour’s full title and specific schedule to be disclosed later.

This announcement of the tour was driven by their recent successful performances at Coachella. BIGBANG performed at the U.S.-based Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on the 12th and 19th (local time), delivering two sets each time. During those performances, they showcased a set list that combined the group’s iconic mega hits with solo performances by each member, instantly demonstrating their 20-year-long musical journey.

International media gave high praise. Billboard described BIGBANG’s performance as “taking the audience back to the golden age of K-pop.” Another outlet referred to them as the “kings of K-pop” and welcomed their successful return. The LA Times described their music as “sensual and energetic party music that attracted a massive crowd,” highlighting BIGBANG’s enduring presence.
