BIGBANG Revives Official Fan Club V.I.P for 20th Anniversary Celebration After 11 Years

The group BIGBANG is restarting its official fan club V.I.P for the 20th anniversary of their Debut, marking the first time since the 5th batch was recruited in 2015. YG Entertainment announced this on May 2. BIGBANG reorganized as a three-member unit last year following the departure of Top and Seungri.

At 8:19 p.m. on May 1, BIGBANG released a poster announcing the recruitment for the 6th batch of V.I.P through their official social media accounts. The poster featured the “Bangbang,” a Lightstick used to show support that symbolizes the bond between BIGBANG and their fanbase V.I.P. Numerous Bangbangs glowing brightly in the darkness signaled the upcoming wave of yellow lights.

Applications for the 6th batch of the fan club will be accepted through BIGBANG’s official community on the global fan platform Stage. YG stated, “We prepared the official fan club recruitment to get closer to fans who have supported BIGBANG for so long,” adding, “We ask everyone to look forward to a new chapter of the 20th anniversary that the artists and V.I.P will create together.”

BIGBANG recently announced their 20th anniversary project by performing at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the United States. Having proven their continued strength with an explosive response from local audiences, BIGBANG revealed they have completed work on a new album and plan to start a world tour starting in August.
