BABYMONSTER to Make Comeback on June 8 with “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” – Asa and Chiquita Unveil Elegant Visuals

BABYMONSTER has released visuals of Asa and Chiquita ahead of their comeback on June 8 with a new digital single titled “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA.” YG Entertainment posted the visual photos on its official blog on the 28th, showcasing images that hint at a fresh musical universe distinct from their previous activities.

In the released images, Asa features long black hair, while Chiquita adds an air of elegance with her bright red hairstyle. The visual synergy between the two members stands out, along with their captivating eye contact and confident presence. A tea set prop that directly references the song title is also included, drawing attention.

YG stated, “As the title suggests, it will be a BABYMONSTER-style ‘summer song’ designed to cool down the scorching heat.” This represents a new musical direction that captures the elegant and refreshing atmosphere of midsummer, unlike the hip vibe of their previous single “CHOOM.”

Following the release of their third mini-album “CHOOM” on the 4th, BABYMONSTER is making an ultra-fast comeback to sustain momentum. Along with the new song, they will embark on their second world tour, spanning a total of 27 performances in 18 cities, including Seoul and six cities in Japan (Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, Osaka), eight cities in Asia (Manila, Macau, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong), and three cities in Oceania (Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney). Additional stops in Europe, North America, and South America are also planned.
