NewJeans Minzy Maintains 9 Consecutive Weeks at No. 1 in Star Ranking’s Female Idol Category

Minzy, a member of NewJeans, retained her position as the top performer in Star Ranking’s Star Idol female category for the ninth straight week. She secured the first place by earning 15,827 votes in the 246th voting cycle.

The voting period ran from 3:01 p.m. on the 9th to 3:00 p.m. on the 16th. Minzy received 4,817 more votes than Irene of Red Velvet, who finished in second place with 11,010 votes, demonstrating a massive lead.

The top five rankings and vote counts are as follows: 1st Minzy (15,827 votes), 2nd Irene (11,010 votes), 3rd Yuri of Girls’ Generation (1,722 votes), 4th Yoona of Girls’ Generation (1,307 votes), and 5th Wendy of Red Velvet (672 votes). Minzy’s vote total is approximately nine times that of Yuri in third place, and there is also a nearly nine-fold difference between second and third place.

Star Ranking is a voting platform where fan votes directly determine rankings. Voters who cast ballots via mobile devices receive a voting certificate, and stars are granted various benefits based on their results.
