Wonpil Successfully Concludes “Unpiltered” Solo Concert After 4 Years and 2 Months

DAY6’s Wonpil successfully brought to an end his solo concert after a period of 4 years and 2 months. Held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from the 1st to the 3rd, the “Unpiltered” concert was praised for its emotional vocals and thoughtful attention to detail.

This concert marked his first solo performance in roughly 4 years and 2 months since “Pilmography” in March 2022. On stage, Wonpil delivered his solo tracks “Toxic Love” and “Jiuge,” as well as DAY6’s hit “Yeppeo,” showcasing his distinctive warm voice and keyboard skills. He created a romantic atmosphere through surprise choreography and prop events featuring messages hidden in the meanings of flowers, before stunning the audience with a performance where he played the piano mid-air as if floating among stars.

Notably, the concert was conducted as an inclusive event, featuring live streaming via BeyondDrive alongside hearing assistance systems called OraCast for audiences with hearing impairments. This thoughtful approach demonstrated a strong commitment to welcoming all fans.

Wonpil shared his feelings, saying, “I am truly grateful for being my biggest strength even today. It is meaningful and joyful for me to hold my second solo concert at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium, a place filled with so many memories.” He added, “I am thankful to Mai Day for helping me grow throughout this journey. I appreciate her presence in my life, and I will continue to repay her with great music and performances.”

As part of DAY6’s 10th anniversary tour “The DECADE,” Wonpil plans to continue his global engagements in Macau on the 9th, Busan from the 16th to the 17th, and Kobe from June 20th to 21st.
