TWS Claims Top Spot as “Idol to Debut in January” in BIGC CHOICE Vote with 58% Majority

The entertainment tech platform BIGC announced that TWS came out on top in the “K-POP idol to debut in January” voting category held through its fan interaction service, BIGC CHOICE.

In the voting that took place from December 11 to 22 of last year, TWS secured 87,042 votes in total, achieving an overwhelming 58.14% of the total votes and thus rising to the first place. This result far surpassed other groups such as WayV, DREAMCATCHER, and Kep1er.

As a reward for this first-place finish, an advertisement celebrating TWS’s debut will be aired. This ad, which will be displayed on MaxVision at Seoul Daehakgung Station for seven days starting from the 16th, is generating high anticipation among fans.

TWS, which made its debut on January 22, 2024, has continued to be active by releasing a new song titled “OVERDRIVE” last October. In particular, the “tantrum challenge” that went viral on various short-form platforms drew explosive responses from global fans.

A BIGC official stated, “We plan to hold more BIGC CHOICE votes on various topics in the future, ensuring that fan participation can lead to actual promotion for artists.” Currently, BIGC is conducting a “2025 CHOICE OF THE YEAR” vote to select the idol who shone the brightest throughout 2025.
