TREASURE to Release “[NEW WAV]” on June 1st… Teaser for “IF I” MV Signals Evolution Toward Hip-Hop

TREASURE has unveiled a trailer for the music video of “IF I,” the title track from their fourth mini-album [NEW WAV]. YG Entertainment posted the approximately 36-second trailer on its official blog on the 27th, where its cinematic direction and visually striking content attracted attention from fans worldwide.

The trailer begins with a deeply impactful sound accompanied by meteorites falling from the sky. Buildings filmed in high-contrast black-and-white style create an extraordinary atmosphere, while members displaying unmatched charisma appear rapidly in succession, capturing viewers’ attention instantly. Following this, they deliver performances filled with bold hip-hop swagger and intense energy, drawing the audience in completely. As the beat builds steadily, the lyrics “LET’S GO” heard toward the end of the video heighten the sense of anticipation.

[NEW WAV] marks a new beginning for TREASURE. YG stated, “For the first time since their Debut, all tracks on this album are composed entirely in hip-hop,” adding that they aim to open a second chapter for TREASURE through music that represents the foundation of YG.

The album includes four hip-hop-based tracks: the title track “IF I,” along with “ZOOM ZOOM,” “NALLY-NA (HYUNHAYO),” and “DANGER.”
