Taeyong to Release Collaboration Single “Rock Solid” with Anderson .Paak on April 17

SM Entertainment announced on the 13th that NCT’s Taeyong will release his new song “Rock Solid,” featuring American singer Anderson .Paak, on April 17.

“Rock Solid” is a hip-hop track that combines Taeyong’s powerful rapping with Anderson .Paak’s dynamic flow over a drum beat. The agency stated that the song embodies “the determination to protect what one has achieved and the confidence to continue proving oneself without wavering.”

This single marks Taeyong’s first solo project in two years. It is his first new solo song in approximately two years since releasing his second EP, “TAP,” in February 2024. Taeyong began his solo activities in June 2023 with his first EP, “Shalala,” and has consistently worked on personal projects since then.

“Rock Solid” is set to serve as a teaser for Taeyong’s upcoming regular album due in May. Meanwhile, Taeyong recently concluded his Asian solo tour titled “TY Track - Remastered,” performing 9 shows across 6 cities. Currently, NCT, where Taeyong is a member, is celebrating its 10th anniversary and is now active with 24 members following the departure of member Mark.
