STRAYCITY Music Festival to Take Place in Latin America in September, Headlined by Stray Kids

JYP Entertainment and Live Nation have announced the launch of a new music festival titled “STRAYCITY” in Latin America, with Stray Kids as the main act. Inspired by the group’s name, the festival is themed around “discovering one’s inner self.”

STRAYCITY is set to be held in three cities across Latin America in September. It will take place on September 9 in Bogotá, Colombia, on September 14 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and on September 25 in Mexico City. Live Nation started selling tickets for Colombia and Argentina at 10 a.m. local time on May 27, while ticket sales for Mexico began at 2 p.m. on May 29.

Stray Kids will be the headline act in all three cities, alongside JYP’s rookie group NEXZ and regional artists such as Andrés Obregón, RENEE, BAD MILK, Kei Linch, K4OS, and Cocho. NEXZ recently won its first music show trophy with its second single “Mmchk” and is scheduled to hold its first arena tour, “NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2026 Hellmate,” in Tokyo on May 30 and 31.

This festival was planned based on Stray Kids’ strong presence in Latin America. The group performed at eight stadium concerts in five cities across the region in 2025, and its recently concluded “dominATE” world tour featured 56 shows in 35 locations. They have also headlined major global festivals such as Lollapalooza Paris, I-Days Italy, British Summer Time Hyde Park, and Lollapalooza Chicago.

Stray Kids have additional major music festival appearances scheduled before STRAYCITY. They will be the headline act at Governors Ball in New York on June 6 and will also headline Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on September 11. Headlining Rock in Rio marks a historic moment as Stray Kids become the first K-pop group to do so. NEXZ is set to perform as an opening act right before Stray Kids’ show on the same day.
