Samsung Electronics and Netflix Release Free Galaxy Themes Based on “KPop Demon Hunters”

Samsung Electronics and Netflix have partnered to distribute free Galaxy themes inspired by the popular animated film “KPop Demon Hunters.” Through this collaboration, the two companies offer Galaxy users the opportunity to experience the film’s universe on their smartphones. Galaxy smartphone users can download these themes from the Galaxy Store between August 13 and September 12 to apply them to their devices. The theme pack consists of 11 designs in total, including one special theme and 10 wallpaper options, all crafted to reflect the film’s unique visuals. Each theme is designed to customize the lock screen, wallpaper, AOD (Always On Display), phone screen, message screen, and icons as part of a cohesive package. The themes feature popular characters from the film, such as the fictional K-pop group Huntrix, along with Rumi, Jinwoo, Duffy, and Sajaboyz. Samsung Electronics designed each theme to align closely with the film’s creative direction, aiming to deliver a consistent and visually appealing user experience across all Galaxy devices. Users can easily download the themes by accessing the promotion page on the Galaxy Store through the Netflix app. Those without the Netflix app can first go to the app download page on the Galaxy Store, install it, and then download the themes. A Samsung Electronics official stated, “We are pleased to offer Galaxy users the chance to experience popular theme content through this collaboration with Netflix. We will continue to expand our OTT partnerships to provide a wider range of content in the future.” This partnership marks the first step in Samsung Electronics’ and Netflix’s ongoing collaboration, with both companies planning to introduce various ways for global fans to engage more closely with their content.
