NewJeans Shows Strong Individual Performance Among Members

The individual activities and popularity of NewJeans’ members are on the rise. Member Haerin ranked second in the Star Ranking’s female idol category, while fans are carrying out a large-scale global project to celebrate Minzy’s birthday.

Haerin, a member of NewJeans, secured second place in Star Ranking’s female idol ranking. This figure indicates that even as the group undergoes restructuring, the popularity of its individual members continues to climb steadily.

The idol weekly ranking website Fan&Star has been running a global fan support project since March 20 to celebrate Minzy’s birthday. The scale of the celebration ads is determined by the number of “Rainbow Stars” points donated by fans.

When more than 20,000 Rainbow Stars are collected, celebration ads are launched. If 50,000 points are gathered, a celebration video is displayed on billboards in Shinjuku and Shinokubo, Tokyo. At 55,000 points, the video is shown on CM boards at Hapjeong Station in Seoul. Additional promotional spots are planned for M-Screen in Hongdae, large digital billboards in Jamil, and Seoul bus advertisements.

The event will continue until April 26, and fans can participate through the “ADs.”” section on Fan&Star’s website. Fans’ enthusiastic support continues unabated.
