NewJeans Releases Content to Mark 4th Anniversary as a Four-Member Group

NewJeans has unveiled its first official content as a four-member group to celebrate their 4th anniversary since Debut. ADOR released individual member Teasers along with a group video titled “2026 Summer of NewJeans.” This activity, featuring Minzy, Hanni, Hyein, and Haerin, marks the group’s first official project in two years since their Japanese single “Supernatural” in 2024.

The individual films and photos share a unified Y2K aesthetic and nostalgic visual style, maintaining consistency with NewJeans’ image from their Debut era. The group video includes the question “Did You See The White Furry Animal?” which relates to the rabbit motif and the term “Bunny” used to refer to the Fandom. All Teasers were posted on NewJeans’ official social media channels under a “NewJeans Day” banner.

The release of this content officially confirms Minzy’s return to the group. Her status within the group had been unclear following a legal dispute in 2024. As of June, ADOR only stated that discussions with Minzy were “progressing positively.” With the release of these Teasers, it is now officially confirmed that Minzy has returned to the group. ADOR had not previously made any official announcement regarding her return.

NewJeans Debuted on July 22, 2022, with “Attention.” Right after their Debut, they successively released hit songs such as “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” and “Cookie,” and later songs like “Ditto,” “OMG,” “Super Shy,” “ETA,” and “How Sweet” all topped major domestic and international music charts. Just one year after their Debut, they reached number one on the Billboard 200, and in June 2024, they held a large-scale fan meeting at Tokyo Dome in Japan, setting a record as the K-pop girl group to enter Tokyo Dome in the shortest time.

ADOR has not yet revealed the exact Comeback date for NewJeans. However, through a coordinated visual campaign, it has been indicated that the four members are preparing for a Comeback, with Danielle excluded from this lineup. Danielle continues to be involved in a legal dispute with ADOR following the notification of termination of her exclusive contract.
