NewJeans’ Minzy’s London Sighting Spreads Online

Recent posts on the social media platform Threads and various online communities have shared sightings of two Korean women encountered in London. Fans who have been following Minzy’s recent activities are showing strong interest in these posts.

The poster, identified as A, explained that they met two Korean women in the morning, and one of them, wearing a black beanie and a leather jacket, looked extremely similar to Minzy. The poster noted that their eyes and mouth shape were particularly alike, though they could not confirm it up close due to the distance. A also mentioned hearing someone next to them call her “Kim” and expressed that they would have been lucky if it really was Minzy.

The photos shared alongside the post show the two women looking at their cell phones. Due to the shaky framing and distance, it is impossible to definitively determine from just these images whether they are actually Minzy. Fans are delighted by these updates on her whereabouts after a long time with no news.

This comes after reports of a sighting of another NewJeans member, Hanni, in Australia last month. The person who claimed to have seen Hanni at that time wrote that she appeared in good health but seemed to need more time before returning to activities.

NewJeans has been on hiatus due to contractual disputes with their agency, ADOR. A court ruled in favor of ADOR in a lawsuit regarding the validity of their exclusive contract, following which some members have expressed their desire to return to activities.
