Netflix’s “KPOP Demon Hunters” Merchandise Sparks Craze – Mystery Boxes and Loungefly Collections in High Demand

Netflix’s popular animated series “KPOP Demon Hunters” has joined the mystery box trend, gaining massive popularity among fans.

The mystery boxes available on Amazon and Hot Topic contain randomly selected pins featuring six characters: Rumi, Joy, Mira, Jinu, Duffy, and Seo. Some items may include rare “Chase” versions with glowing effects, which are limited-edition Funko Pop designs that have attracted attention from collectors.

These mystery boxes are officially licensed products released through a collaboration between Netflix, Loungefly, and Funko. Annie Williams, marketing director at Funko, said, “Each product is designed to be bold, dynamic, and truly unforgettable. We are very proud to bring this amazing brand to life through various Funko and Loungefly categories.”

At the center of the Loungefly collection is a mini backpack that features the main characters Rumi, Mira, and Joy in rainbow-colored appliqué prints. It boasts purple hardware, an interior with Honmoon patterns, and a beaded photo card pocket—perfect for storing lightsticks so fans can look stunning at their next concert while listening to “Golden.” In addition, zipper card holders and keychain talismans have also been released for fans.

Hot Topic has also offered a Lion Boy blind box set, allowing collectors to gather all six pins, including versions of the Lion Boys dressed in Soda Pop outfits and a glitter-enhanced version of the demon Jinu. The Loungefly collection is available starting at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET on January 20 through Loungefly and retail stores worldwide.

Both product lines have sold out quickly online, and fans’ unboxing videos have become major trends on social media. Netflix recently announced plans to collaborate with Mattel and Hasbro to release various merchandise such as “KPOP Demon Hunters” dolls, stuffed animals, and board games, aiming to expand its fan base further.
