MSG Wannabi to Release New Album “Record (Part 1)” on September 29

MSG Wannabi has announced that it will release its new album “Record (Part 1)” on September 29. The album contains a total of five tracks, all of which were produced between 10 years ago and 4 years ago.

Park Jae-jeong stated in a caption, “I tried to document my long journey through songs I created 10 years ago, tracks I finished recording 4 years ago, as well as melodies I wrote while in the military.” Although the album consists of only five tracks, its runtime is quite long, similar to that of a standard full-length album, with two tracks exceeding 5 minutes in length.

The title track of the album is “End of Season,” a song with a lengthy runtime of 5 minutes and 30 seconds. This track was previously unveiled only during the mini-concert “Dialogue” and was chosen by fans.

“Regret” is another track being released as a digital version for the first time in 11 years. It is a re-recorded version of a song from Park Jae-jeong’s time at Dankook University, performed by him in 2026. “Withered Love” is the first song he performed after returning from military service; it features a four-stanza structure without a chorus, showcasing a more classical style.

The final track, “Why,” is an energetic piece prepared for concerts, intended to be performed with its spectacular sound effects.
