Lee Seong-kyung X Iru-ri Explore the Naoshima Museum

Lee Seong-kyung X Iru-ri shared their schedule for visiting museums in Naoshima on Instagram on the 12th.

The post read, “Day 2 in Naoshima! Yayoi Kusama Museum, Chijung Museum, Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery, Naoshima Hall, IE Project.”

At the Chijung Museum, while viewing Monet’s Water Lilies series, Lee Seong-kyung X Iru-ri described it as “intense, as only the largest Water Lilies painting is visible in the center with both walls blocked off, allowing the artwork to be fully appreciated at a glance,” adding that natural light alters the emotional impact of the pieces.

They also added, “The exhibition where one faces the changes entirely in a dark hall without any lighting left the deepest impression on me.”
