IVE Confirms January Comeback

IVE has confirmed its comeback for January 2025. Starship Entertainment stated that the group is currently preparing a new release, with January set as the target release date. This marks their first official album release in approximately 9 months since the release of their second EP, “IVE SWITCH,” in April 2024.

The comeback follows directly after IVE concluded its first world tour, “SHOW WHAT I HAVE,” which began in October 2023 and included 37 performances across 28 cities in 19 countries. The tour attracted a total of 420,000 attendees, with all shows at major venues such as the Gochek Sky Dome in Seoul and Tokyo Dome selling out completely. In August 2024, the group performed on global main stages like Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2024, receiving high praise from international fans.

Since their debut in 2021, IVE has maintained consistent popularity by releasing hit songs such as “ELEVEN,” “LOVE DIVE,” and “After Like,” which topped charts both domestically and internationally. At the 2024 MAMA Awards and Melon Music Awards, they won 3 awards each, demonstrating their strong stage presence and musical maturity. IVE’s Leader, Yujin, expressed excitement about the comeback, saying, “During the world tour, thanks to the support of DIVE (the fandom name) around the world, we were able to make those precious moments even happier.”

This new album is a result of IVE evolving into a “versatile group.” Starship Entertainment explained, “Through various performances in 2024, IVE will reveal a clearer identity and showcase more diverse musical styles.” Specific details about the album will be released through the group’s official social media accounts.
