Im Young-woong Claims 201st Consecutive Week at No. 1 on Idol Chart Rating Rankings

Singer Im Young-woong topped the Idol Chart rating rankings for the fourth week of January for the 201st consecutive time. According to the Idol Chart, in the rating rankings compiled from January 24 to January 30, Im Young-woong received 381,510 votes, the highest total among all artists. This figure is nearly three times higher than that of second-place Lee Chan-won, who earned 128,312 votes. Im Young-woong also holds a significant advantage in the “likes” metric, which reflects the actual size of a fanbase. He received 37,360 likes, three times more than second-place Lee Chan-won’s 12,147 likes. The gap between him and third-place Young-tak, who got 4,481 likes, is even more than eight times larger. Reaching No. 1 for 201 consecutive weeks serves as an indicator of an artist’s status in the Idol Chart when they enjoy sustained support from their fanbase. Throughout this period, Im Young-woong maintained consistently high fan voting rates regardless of his musical activities. Other idols included in the same weekly rankings were BTS’s Jimin (13,795 votes), Jin (8,196 votes), and V (7,696 votes), but Im Young-woong’s vote margin was overwhelmingly larger.
