Girl Group YGAESET Releases New Single “Tweak” with Piano Contribution from Park Jin-young

YG Entertainment’s global girl group YGAESET released its new digital single “Tweak” at midnight on the 6th. Released in collaboration with Universal Records, this track exemplifies the group’s expansion in musical styles as it features all four members—Lexi, Camila, Kendall, and Savanna.

The musical style of “Tweak” draws inspiration from the late 1990s and early 2000s aesthetics. Inspired by the song “Weak” by the American R&B band SWV, it reinterprets the era’s distinctive vintage sound in a modern context. Park Jin-young, YG’s lead producer, along with Grammy Award-winning producer Diego Eve, contributed to its production. Park Jin-young’s piano performance is a key element that adds uniqueness to the track.

Alongside “Tweak,” YGAESET also unveiled an official music video. The video was directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who has previously directed videos for numerous artists including Ariana Grande, Tate McRae, Charli XCX, and BLACKPINK. In the video, YGAESET showcases its presence through sophisticated choreography and high-energy visuals. While each member’s individual style is effectively highlighted, the group also conveys a bold identity and strong cohesion as a unit.

YGAESET’s previous single was “Little Miss,” released in November last year. That song’s music video accumulated over 22 million views, sustaining online attention for a long time. More recently, interest in “Little Miss” surged further with the release of the “Little Miss (Misdemeanor)” version featuring rapper Missy Elliott. The release of “Tweak” builds upon this musical trajectory, demonstrating YGAESET’s ongoing artistic evolution and growth.
