G-Dragon’s Agency Galaxy Corporation Receives Presidential Award for Contributions to APEC

Galaxy Corporation, the agency representing singer G-Dragon, was honored with a presidential award for its contributions to the development of society through the hosting of the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. The award certificate, issued in the name of President Lee Jae-myung on January 2, 2026, bears the official seal of Minister Yoon Ho-jung of the Ministry of Administration and Security.

Galaxy Corporation served as the official sponsor of the 2025 APEC summit and appointed G-Dragon, its artist, as the summit’s official ambassador. G-Dragon performed a special show during the welcome dinner, drawing significant attention from world leaders. President Lee Jae-myung and Chinese President Xi Jinping sat together to watch the performance, while some leaders such as Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney filmed the show on their mobile phones.

Galaxy Corporation also distributed promotional stick packages featuring the message “Peace with Create” to summit attendees and organized exchange activities utilizing cultural content.
