Dae-sung Tours JYP’s Headquarters on YouTube Channel “Collective”

A video featuring singer Dae-sung touring JYP Entertainment’s headquarters was released on YouTube channel “Collective.” The video, uploaded on the 30th, shows members of group ITZY—Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna—personally guiding him around the facility.

Following a previous tour of SM Entertainment’s headquarters, Dae-sung visited JYP’s building this time to experience a different atmosphere. As guided by ITZY members, he explored JYP’s headquarters and discovered a special motto in the recording studio. The wall of the recording studio read “START WITH YOU HEART, FINISH WITH YOU BRAIN.”

Chaeryeong of ITZY explained this by saying, “It means starting with your heart and ending with your brain; it’s something producers always say when creating songs.” The wall of the recording studio also featured color-printed images of legendary musicians such as Whitney Houston, James Brown, and Stevie Wonder. These are masters respected by Park Jin-young and JYP’s music professionals. Dae-sung commented, “It’s better to display them here with respect for each one of them.”

In the choreography practice room, a space labeled with Michael Jackson’s name stood out. Dae-sung referred to it as “JYP’s signature space.” The red walls in the practice room were designed with a unique structure. Lia explained, “When multiple people are practicing, the walls rise up, allowing it to be used as a larger practice room,” while Yuna added, “The PD paid a lot of attention to this detail; it was imported from abroad.”

Dae-sung praised the red walls by calling them “luxurious red,” which sparked laughter.

Seeing the word “JYP” written on the ceiling, Dae-sung jokingly mentioned Park Jin-young’s confidence by saying, “My older brother’s self-love is really... he even wrote his name here.” He also expressed his desire to visit JYP’s new headquarters under construction in Godok-dong again once it is completed, adding with a smile, “I hope to be there with Park Jin-young then.”

Dae-sung recalled having visited the previous JYP headquarters during a collaboration with Wonder Girls in the past. Saying this was his first time at the current building, he described the design plans for the new headquarters as “really impressive,” revealing his amazement at JYP’s scale and ambition in construction.
