BTS V Ranks First in 2025 K-Brand Index Individual Category, Demonstrating Growing Global Influence

BTS’s V (Kim Tae-hyung) claimed the top spot in the 2025 K-Brand Index’s male group individual category. This index, released by the Asia Brand Research Institute, analyzed 280 million data points collected over a 30-day period from November 1 to 30, taking into account media coverage, social influence, search trends, positivity levels, engagement rates, and public interest. V’s influence extends beyond his personal popularity to affect entire markets. According to the International Business Times, Celine, the luxury fashion brand for which V serves as an ambassador, saw its sales rise from approximately 5 billion won to 30 billion won in 2023 despite sluggish performance by competing brands, with its operating profit increasing by 591%. On December 1, 2025, V was officially announced as the global ambassador for Paradise City. This announcement was shared via promotional videos on the resort’s social media channels, coinciding with Paradise Corp achieving its best financial results to date. Per the World Casino Directory, Paradise Corp recorded a 10.2% growth in casino sales in 2024, generating a total revenue of 81.88 billion won. In addition to Celine and Paradise City, V is also the face of various other major brands, with his influence spanning fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and luxury markets across the board. This solidifies his status as one of the most marketable idols in K-pop history. Meanwhile, V is not limited to his solo activities. BTS is currently preparing for a group Comeback in the spring of 2026. After all members complete their military service, BTS confirmed via a live stream in July 2025 that they will begin new music production in the United States, alongside working on a group album and launching a world tour.
