BTS to Release Fifth Studio Album “ARIRANG” on March 20 After Approximately 3 Years and 9 Months

BTS is set to release a new album after roughly 3 years and 9 months. Their fifth studio album, “ARIRANG,” will be made available on March 20, and it has drawn attention due to its title inspired by Korea’s iconic folk song “Arirang.”

The album title “Arirang” symbolizes the identity and emotions BTS aims to convey through their music. As they prepared for this Comeback following a long hiatus, the group naturally integrated elements of their roots, starting point, and inner stories into the tracks. This new release captures both their identity as a group born in Korea and the feelings of longing and deep affection experienced by the members, showcasing BTS’s unique musical style. The album will contain a total of 14 songs.

“Arirang” is structured around emotions that resonate with everyone—specifically longing and love—making it expected to evoke a strong emotional response among global fans as well.

Their full return to the global stage will begin in April. BTS will resume their activities with a new world tour starting at the Goyang Sports Complex on April 9. This tour, which will feature 79 performances across 34 cities worldwide, sets a record as the largest-scale K-pop tour to date, with additional shows planned in Japan and the Middle East. BTS will also become the first Korean artists to perform at major stadiums in the United States such as El Paso, Foxborough, Arlington, and Baltimore, delivering an immersive experience to fans through 360-degree stage designs.
