BTS to Gather in Busan in June, 110,000 ARMY Members Expected

BTS will hold a world tour concert at the Asiad Main Stadium in Busan next June. It is expected that 110,000 fans known as “ARMY” will visit Busan for these two-day events on June 12 and 13, with 53,000 fans attending each day.

Specifically, June 13 marks BTS’s official Debut anniversary, and the group will celebrate this milestone with their fans for the first time since their full reunion. This will be BTS’s first visit to the Asiad Main Stadium in Busan in about four years, since their “Yet To Come in BUSAN” concert in 2022. Given how crowded Busan’s city center was during that event, a similar volume of fans is anticipated this time as well.

The city of Busan is implementing comprehensive tourism, accommodation, and safety measures in preparation for the concert. The city is increasing subway services and deploying temporary buses to facilitate fan transportation. It is also making public accommodation facilities such as youth training centers available at reduced prices while strictly monitoring any excessive pricing in lodging options. The low-cost reservation policy launched by Busan Urban Corporation’s ARPINA was quickly filled up once reservations opened, reflecting high fan interest.

Busan has designated the period from June 5 to 21, before and after the concert, as “The City Arirang in Busan” and is preparing various events. BTS-related videos will be displayed on the Gwangang Bridge and Haeundae Square media walls, and a drone show will take place at Gwangalli. Gourmet experience events such as “Gourmet Selection” in collaboration with Michelin-starred restaurants will be held at locations like Bukhang Port Village. Welcome centers will be set up at stations such as Busan Station, along with nighttime-themed activities like candle light concerts.

Busan is the hometown of BTS members and holds symbolic significance for their fans, making this concert particularly important within the entire tour schedule. Online communities and social media are already filled with posts from fans planning trips to Busan, and inquiries about hotel and lodging reservations have increased significantly.

Ticket sales will first begin with pre-sales for club members (ARMY membership) at 8 p.m. on April 29. General public sales will start at 8 p.m. on April 30 for any remaining tickets. Prices are expected to be in the early 300,000 won range for the premium seats and in the late 100,000 won range for regular seats.
