BTS Releases Ticket Information for Australian Shows in ARIRANG World Tour, Triggering Rising Hotel Prices in Busan

BTS has unveiled detailed information regarding the Australian leg of its ARIRANG World Tour. Organized by Live Nation, this tour begins in Taiwan on November 19 and concludes in the Philippines on March 14, featuring 85 performances across 34 different locations.

The Asia-Australia segment starts in Taiwan on November 19, followed by stops in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia before entering the Australian continent. In Australia, concerts are scheduled at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday, February 12, and Saturday, February 13, as well as at Accor Stadium in Sydney on Saturday, February 20, and Sunday, February 21. The tour then continues to Hong Kong before ending with shows in the Philippines.

Tickets for the Australian shows will be sold in phases. ARMY members must complete pre-sale registration on Weverse by 1 p.m. AEST on May 27, after which member-only pre-sales begin on June 2. General public ticket sales will start on June 4. Sales schedules vary by region in Asia.

This tour marks BTS’s first headline tour since the “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE Tour.” The group previously held headline performances at multiple major stadiums in North America, becoming the first K-pop group to do so, including venues such as Raymond James Stadium in Florida, Sun Bowl Stadium in Texas, AT&T Stadium, M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland, and Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.

Meanwhile, rising hotel prices ahead of the Busan shows on June 12 and 13 have drawn criticism from fans. Room rates, which normally range in the 60,000 won area, have climbed to as high as 760,000 won during the concert period, prompting fans to voice their concerns on online forums. June 13 coincides with BTS’s Debut anniversary.
