BTS to Host “The City Arirang” in Las Vegas and Busan

BTS will hold the large-scale urban project “The City Arirang” in Las Vegas and Busan to commemorate the release of their fifth studio album, “ARIRANG.” This project features installation art that projects BTS’s story onto city spaces, delivering an immersive experience that combines music and media.
In Las Vegas, “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG LAS VEGAS” will take place from May 20 to 31 local time. The city’s renowned tourist district known as “The Strip” will be lit up in red, the core color of ARIRANG, while digital billboards will display BTS’s welcome messages. Various activities such as themed hotel experiences, special food and beverage offerings, and behind-the-scenes parties are planned through partnerships with local brands. This project expands upon the success of “THE CITY LAS VEGAS” held in 2022.

In Busan, “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG BUSAN” will run from June 5 to 21. A variety of entertainment programs will be staged across the city, with specific schedules and details for each event set to be released later through the fan platform Weverse. Since it coincides with BTS’s “Arirang” world tour dates in Busan (June 12–13), fans will be able to experience the city-wide project alongside the concerts.

“The City Arirang” was previously held in Seoul last month, where it received widespread acclaim for its visual presentations that utilized city landmarks such as Seongnyemun Gate and Namsan Tower lighting, a Han River drone show, and mall media walls.

Regarding tour updates, Amazon Music has been selected as the official merchandising partner for the North American tour. Amazon’s “Just Walk Out Technology” will be introduced for the first time on a stadium tour scale, allowing fans to purchase official merchandise quickly and conveniently. Merchandising booths will be placed throughout all areas inside and outside the venues.

Meanwhile, BTS is also releasing the documentary series “KEEP SWIMMING with BTS,” inspired by their title track “SWIM.” This series explores stories behind their celebrity lifestyle and highlights moments of “swimming” from various figures, including director Park Chan-wook, designer Nora Noh, and snowboard Olympic gold medalist Choi Ga-on. BTS’s world tour, which includes 85 shows in 34 cities, will continue until March 2027.
