BTS Releases Surprise New Track “Come Over” on Deluxe Vinyl Edition of “Arirang”…A Message to ARMY

BTS has released a surprise new track titled “Come Over,” which contains a heartfelt message addressed to their fandom ARMY, as part of the deluxe vinyl version of their fifth studio album “Arirang.” Released on April 3, this song was produced by member SUGA, with RM and j-hope also listed among its creative team.

“Come Over” is a fusion of stadium rock and pop, featuring harmonious elements such as synthesizers and vocal textures that create a spatial effect, a heavy beat reminiscent of stomping feet and applause, along with guitar sounds. The lyrics express deep affection for their fans. The chorus, which includes lines like “When an empty night arrives/ I call out to you once again/ Yeah I'm lost, can I come over/ I just wanna say I'm sorry,” depicts the desire to return to them even when feeling lost.

The agency described it as a song that “sincerely asks, ‘Can you accept me after all this wandering?’” after going through confusion, reflecting their gratitude toward ARMY, who have always supported them. This new track is added to the original 14 tracks on the album, bringing the total count to 15, and it is only available on the deluxe vinyl edition. It will not be released on streaming platforms like Spotify, allowing only fans who purchase the physical vinyl to hear it.

The existence of “Come Over” was first revealed on April 1 through a Weverse livestream. During that stream, SUGA mentioned, “A song I produced is finally coming out,” while RM hinted that “fans attending the concert in Goyang will be able to hear it.” On the livestream, the members predicted that this track would be as beloved by fans as their 2023 single “Take Two.”

“Arirang” is BTS’s fifth studio album, released after 3 years and 9 months, and it has achieved unprecedented success on global platforms since its release on March 20. It topped both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts simultaneously, and for the first time in chart history, all of its tracks ranked from 1st to 10th on the Global (outside the U.S.) chart. The title track “Swim” has held the #1 spot on Spotify Global for 13 consecutive days since its release.
