BoA Shares First Updates Since Leaving SM After 25 Years… “I’m Doing Good”

Singer BoA, who left her 25-year affiliation with SM Entertainment, has revealed her current situation for the first time. On January 30, she posted several photos on her social media along with the caption “I’m doing good.”

In the photos, BoA appears relaxed in a natural setting, seemingly on a trip. She styled herself with a black beanie and various types of glasses, showcasing her flair. She smiled peacefully by a lake and maintained a calm expression while eating, demonstrating a stable and comfortable daily life.

BoA’s departure from SM was officially announced by the agency on January 12. SM Entertainment stated in a statement that “BoA agreed to end her 25-year partnership as of December 31 of last year” and added that she had been “truly SM’s pride, honor, and symbol throughout those 25 years.”

BoA also shared her thoughts on the separation. She expressed gratitude by saying, “I’m leaving without any regrets, having given everything in return. I’m thankful for the time we spent together, and I’ll continue to support SM Entertainment as it shines on. Thank you,” showing her appreciation for the agency. SM added, “We hope she will fully utilize her talents in her upcoming new activities and challenges, continuing to shine as ‘Asia’s Star.’”
