BLACKPINK’s Jennie Returns to Variety Shows After 6 Months as Special Guest on Tving’s “Hwansung Yeonae 4”

BLACKPINK’s Jennie is making a surprise return to variety shows after approximately 6 months by appearing as a special guest on Tving’s original variety program “Hwansung Yeonae 4.” On the 26th, Tving officially confirmed her participation, stating that Jennie’s appearance as a guest is indeed true. This marks Jennie’s first time on a variety show since her appearance on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” in May last year. In this season, Jennie will serve as a panel guest, observing the relationship changes and choices of the participants in the VCRs while sharing her honest opinions and reflections. “Hwansung Yeonae 4” is a reality program that follows couples who have broken up for various reasons as they live together in one house, reflecting on their past relationships and seeking new connections. Since the release of its first episode, the show has ranked first among Tving’s weekly paid subscribers for seven consecutive weeks. As of November 18th, it also topped the combined TV-OTT discussion rankings, continuing its strong performance. Jennie will team up with the existing panelists—Lee Yong-jin, Simon Dominic, Yura, and Kim Ye-won—for the first time. “Hwansung Yeonae 4” has previously featured notable guests such as BOYNEXTDOOR’s Mingyu and Seongho, SEVENTEEN’s S.COUPS and Minhyuk, BTOB’s Lee Min-hyuk, singer Dun, and Roy Kim, all of whom have helped shape the studio atmosphere. With global artist Jennie joining them, this season is expected to generate even more buzz. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently on their world tour “DEADLINE.” The tour begins with performances in Singapore from the 28th to 30th, followed by shows at Tokyo Dome in January and in Hong Kong at the end of January, while they also prepare for a full-group comeback. A fan event will be held at the “BLACKPINK World Tour DEADLINE” pop-up store in Hong Kong. Additionally, BLACKPINK is releasing the “BLACKPINK X Razer Collection” in collaboration with the gaming brand Razer. This limited edition consists of gaming gear featuring BLACKPINK’s pink color scheme applied to Razer’s devices, designed to cater to both gaming needs and everyday styling. The entire collection is set to be unveiled in January next year.
