BLACKPINK Launches First K-Pop Artist Collaboration with National Museum of Korea... Pink Lighting and Audio Guides

BLACKPINK is undertaking a large-scale collaboration project with the National Museum of Korea to celebrate the release of its new mini-album. This marks the first time a K-Pop artist has partnered with the museum.
YG Entertainment and the National Museum of Korea announced on the 12th that the “National Museum of Korea X BLACKPINK” project will run from February 26 to March 8, with global music streaming platform Spotify serving as the official partner.
During the project period, the exterior of the National Museum of Korea will be decorated with pink lighting that symbolizes BLACKPINK. This visual element creates a symbolic connection between K-Pop and cultural heritage by utilizing the group’s signature fan color.
The members of BLACKPINK will participate in audio guide programs for eight representative artifacts at the museum. Jisoo and Jennie recorded audio guides in Korean, Rosé recorded hers in English, and Lisa recorded hers in Thai. Visitors can learn about Korean cultural heritage through the explanations provided by the BLACKPINK members. Additionally, limited-edition postcards featuring the artifacts introduced by BLACKPINK alongside photos of the members will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the main lobby, in front of the Gwanggaeto the Great King Stele, listening sessions will be held where visitors can preview all tracks from BLACKPINK’s mini 3rd album, “DEADLINE.” These listening sessions will begin on February 26, one day before the album’s official release.

Pre-listening access prior to the album’s release can be applied for at 8 p.m. on February 19 through Naver reservations. Some of these sessions are special events exclusive to Spotify Premium users. Starting at 2 p.m. on February 27, the official release date of the album, all visitors will be able to participate during museum hours.
“DEADLINE” includes five tracks in total, with the Title Track “Go,” as well as the pre-release singles “JUMP,” “Me and My,” “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy.” BLACKPINK has maintained a connection with the National Museum of Korea since February, when it held a listening event for its mini 3rd album and participated in audio guide projects for key artifacts.
