aespa to Make Comeback on May 29 with Second Full-Length Album “LEMONADE”

aespa will make a Comeback on May 29 with their second full-length album, “LEMONADE.” This marks their first new release in approximately two years since their first full-length album, “Armageddon,” released in May 2024. The album introduces new changes to aespa’s previously intense musical style.

The Title Track, “LEMONADE,” is an electronic dance song characterized by a powerful and trendy synth bass sound. It hints at a new season within aespa’s universe while cleverly conveying a positive message—“no matter what trials or hardships arise, we will turn them into opportunities”—in true aespa style. During a press conference on the 28th, the members described the song as “a cool track that fully captures aespa’s unique wit.”

This album was planned as a work that opens a new chapter in their universe. It depicts aespa, who have grown into confident individuals through various experiences, embracing even moments of “cracks” caused by overlapping data from multiple parallel worlds as opportunities to enjoy.

The album includes a total of 11 tracks, including the pre-release singles “WDA,” “SHAKIN,” “Can’t Help Myself,” “Camouflage,” “Bite,” “Switchblade” (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign), “Roll,” “My Plan,” and “Til We Die.” Each track features a variety of genres, ranging from powerful and heavy tracks to witty and energetic songs. Through the digital album, aespa also releases a featuring version of “LEMONADE” with Latin pop star Becky G.

With their first full-length album, aespa topped major domestic music charts by using “Armageddon” and “Chosinseong” as dual Title Tracks and won top awards at numerous music ceremonies. This new album has sold over 1 million copies, becoming the group’s eighth million-selling release.

From May 29 to June 7, aespa will hold pop-up store promotions in the Yeouido and Banpo Han River Park areas of Seoul. In August, they will hold their first solo concert at the Gochek Sky Dome in Seoul, kicking off a new world tour.
