aespa Confirmed as Performer for 2025 Billboard Women in Music Event

aespa has been added to the lineup for Billboard’s 2025 Women in Music event. This ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 29th, at the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. Hosted by Laverne Cox, this Billboard-sponsored event serves to honor influential female musicians and industry leaders in the music sector. aespa will perform alongside other renowned artists such as Erykah Badu, Gracie Abrams, Megan Moroney, Muni Long, Tyla, and Ángela Aguilar. The event’s hosting team consists of past winners from the Women in Music awards. Lauren Jauregui, a member of Fifth Harmony, won the Group of the Year award in 2015, Summer Walker received the Chart Topper Award in 2022, Becky G won the Impact Award in 2023, and Victoria Monét received the Rising Star Award last year. Meanwhile, Billboard is expanding Women in Music globally through international partnerships. ANNA, who was named Billboard Italy’s Woman of the Year, and Charlotte Cardin, the winner of Billboard Canada’s Woman of the Year, will be recognized as Global Women of the Year. The performance will be streamed live via VIZIO WatchFree+, and it can be watched free on VIZIO TVs and mobile apps at 10 p.m. Eastern Time / 7 p.m. Pacific Time on March 29th. It will also be available on demand until April 5th, offering a variety of content including in-depth interviews, studio sessions, and episode series. Jazzy will handle the red carpet coverage, while Drew Afualo will produce behind-the-scenes content. Girls Make Beats will present a special DJ performance at the red carpet, featuring DJ Princess SC and DJ Sparkle.
