HYBE’s New Label ABD’s First Girl Group TUIDE Begins Countdown to Debut with “SUN KISS”

TUIDE, the first girl group launched by HYBE’s new label ABD, will make its debut with the title track “SUN KISS.” The seven members—Seohee, Seoyeon, Lena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Lee Hae-nui—posted a promotional schedule for their first mini-album, “TUNE & PLAY,” via their official social media accounts at 10 p.m. on the 5th, with the full album and music video set to be released simultaneously at 6 p.m. on the 24th.

All members of TUIDE are teenagers, born between 2006 and 2011. The group name is derived from “Tune the tide,” aiming to experience and adjust various currents in the world to create new forms of enjoyment. This team philosophy is reflected in the title of their first album. “TUNE & PLAY” signifies an album that tunes together different musical languages into one rhythm (TUNE) while maximizing the joy found within it (PLAY).

The debut title track, as revealed in the promotional schedule, is “SUN KISS.” The inclusion of this track title in the schedule heightened fans’ anticipation. The images shared featured vibrant flag decorations, tents, wooden signs, and other visual elements that created a free-spirited and energetic atmosphere reminiscent of a summer camp.

TUIDE will release content in phases starting from the 7th. On the 7th, they will introduce themselves through content titled “GET TO KNOW TUIDE” and “MEET MY GRLS.” On the 10th and 12th, they will sequentially release content versions named “WE TUNE” and “WE PLAY,” inspired by the album title. On the 14th, an album preview will be released, followed by content titled “HOW WE TUNE & PLAY” on the 17th. Teasers for the “SUN KISS” music video will be unveiled over two days, on the 20th and 22nd. Music video stills will be released on the 23rd, with the official album and full music video dropping at 6 p.m. on the 24th.

“TUNE & PLAY” is an album that tunes together different musical languages into one rhythm while maximizing the joy found within it. As ABD’s first girl group, TUIDE will play a key role in further expanding HYBE’s multi-label strategy.
