Actor and singer Jo Jung-seok is returning to music after approximately 1 year and 9 months. His agency, Jam Entertainment, released a Teaser image on the 14th via official social media platforms to announce the release of his new digital single, “In a World That Was Nothing Special, Meeting You Made Everything Good.”

This track marks his first new release in about 1 year and 9 months since his debut album “Jo Jung-seok,” with hit-making band Rockberry contributing to create an emotional atmosphere. Another notable feature is that Jo Jung-seok personally participated in writing the lyrics, adding authenticity to the song. The released Teaser image features orange twilight, a cozy camper van, and a guitar, all combined to evoke a warm mood and hint at the emotional tone of the new song.

The agency stated, “Since this was a decision made after much consideration, the song will carry a strong sense of Jo Jung-seok’s unique musical style.”

Previously, Jo Jung-seok’s wife and singer Geummi began her musical activities last month on the 24th by releasing a duet song titled “Like Spring, You” with SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan.

Meanwhile, Jo Jung-seok recently drew attention by announcing his intention to stop managing the YouTube channel “Cheonggyesan-dangirecords,” which has 510,000 subscribers. This musical comeback is seen as a signal of a new direction for him following the closure of that YouTube channel.

Jo Jung-seok married Geummi in 2018 and had their first daughter in 2020, followed by the birth of their second daughter in January of this year.
