Stray Kids’ Seungmin to Skip New York Performance Due to Ankle Injury

Seungmin, a member of Stray Kids, will not attend the “The Governors Ball Music Festival” taking place in New York in June because he was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left ankle. JYP Entertainment stated that it made this decision considering Seungmin’s health condition.

Seungmin is resting to ensure stability and avoiding any strenuous physical activity. The agency explained, “To focus on full recovery and proper treatment, we are minimizing long-distance flights and travel in confined spaces.”

After initially being diagnosed with a stress fracture in March, Seungmin underwent further examinations, which ultimately confirmed a stress fracture in his left ankle.

Stray Kids were originally scheduled to perform as headliners at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 6 (local time), but only seven members, excluding Seungmin, will take the stage. JYP Entertainment made it clear that it will prioritize the artist’s health and will do its utmost to ensure he receives more intensive and professional treatment.
