BLACKPINK to Celebrate 10th Anniversary with All Four Members Together

BLACKPINK will hold a fan event to mark their 10th anniversary in Seoul on August 8. YG Entertainment confirmed on the 7th that all four members—Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa—will attend the event. This marks the first time all BLACKPINK members have met their domestic fans in person in one year and one month, since the Goyang concert of their “Deadline” world tour last July.

YG Entertainment officially announced the 10th anniversary fan event on the 6th. The event is titled “Meet & Greet” and will take place at an undisclosed location in Seoul. Attendance is limited to 40 people, with only long-term Weverse members eligible for invitations. However, in an initial announcement, YG indicated that only some members whose schedules could be adjusted would be able to attend. This news sparked disappointment among fans, with some even criticizing it as a hastily organized event ahead of the 10th anniversary.

Concerns about member absences stemmed from their respective schedules. Speculations arose that Rose might not attend because she was spotted in the United States until recently. Further concerns grew when it was reported that Lisa would also be absent due to her schedule. In response, Rose’s agency, Double Black Label, issued an official statement. The agency said, “The artist has prioritized this event for a long time to share a meaningful moment with fans and has secured and finalized all schedules in advance to ensure time spent with them.”

After Double Black Label’s official clarification, YG Entertainment officially confirmed that all four members—Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa—would attend. A YG official stated, “According to confirmation from the agency, all four members will ultimately be present.”

BLACKPINK will now celebrate their 10th anniversary with their full lineup together. It will be the first time the four members have met fans in South Korea in one year and one month, since the Goyang concert of their “Deadline” world tour last July.
