Virtual Idol Iseseagateoidol Claims First Place in TENASIA K-Pop Voting

The virtual group Iseseagateoidol won first place in the April K-Pop girl group brand voting of the TENASIA ARTIST TOP TEN. Last month, they became the first virtual idols to receive the Post-Generation Award at the Hanteo Music Awards.

Iseseagateoidol topped the K-Pop girl group category in the TENASIA ARTIST TOP TEN voting held from April 10 to 23. These six-member virtual idols made their Debut on December 17, 2021, through an audition organized by internet broadcaster Uwagut. They have drawn attention for their creativity and direct interaction with fans via social media.

The Post-Generation Award that Iseseagateoidol won at the Hanteo Music Awards is an example of the rising status of virtual idols within the mainstream music industry.
